Welcome to ShoeMatch. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What ShoeMatch is
ShoeMatch helps you find footwear by matching shoes to the use, fit, and budget you tell us about. We are a recommendation tool. We do not sell shoes and we are not the seller for any product shown. Purchases happen on the retailer's own website, under their terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity on your account. Please give accurate information and let us know if you think your account has been used without your permission. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
Please use ShoeMatch only for its intended purpose. You agree not to:
- break the law, or use the site to harm others;
- try to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the site;
- copy or resell our content or recommendations as your own.
4. Prices, availability, and recommendations
Prices, deals, ratings, and stock come from third-party sources and can change or be wrong at any time. We do our best to rank good matches and surface fair prices, but we cannot guarantee that any shoe, price, or "best deal" is accurate, available, or right for you. Always confirm the details on the retailer's page before you buy.
5. Foot analysis is a fit aid, not medical advice
If you upload foot photos, our analysis gives a rough guide to help with shoe fit. It is not a medical diagnosis and is not a substitute for advice from a podiatrist or doctor. Do not rely on it for any health decision.
6. Third-party links
The site links to retailers and other third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, or practices.
7. Our content
The ShoeMatch name, design, and software are ours. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy or redistribute it without permission.
8. Service "as is"
ShoeMatch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your needs.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShoeMatch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including any purchase you make from a retailer we link to.
10. Changes and ending access
We may update the site or these terms from time to time. If we make important changes we will update the date above. We may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the site. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
11. Privacy
Your use of ShoeMatch is also covered by our Privacy Notice.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or your use of ShoeMatch will be handled by the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you agree to that venue.
